Admission
The Quantum Engineering Master's programme seeks outstanding students with a Bachelor degree in engineering or physics awarded by an internationally recognised university. The programme starts in the fall semester.
Application Window
The application dates for the MSc in Quantum Engineering are those set by ETH for Master’s degree studies. Further information about applications for Master’s degree studies is provided by the admissions office of ETH.
Requirements
The language skills required for the QE Master’s degree programme are listed in the respective section on application documents. A recognised language certificate must be submitted by the application deadline at the latest.
In addition, the GRE General Test is compulsory for students who have not obtained their Bachelor's degree diploma in one of the EU/EFTA member state countries. For all students with a Bachelor's diploma from an university outside Switzerland, a GRE is highly recommended.

Qualifying Bachelor's degrees
To qualify for admission to the Quantum Engineering programme, students are required to hold a Bachelor's degree in physics or electrical engineering (or similar) from an internationally recognised university.
Scholarships
ETH Zurich supports excellent Master's students with two scholarship programmes:
The Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) supports students with a scholarship, mentorship and a network of the ETH Foundation. The scholarship covers the full study and living costs during the Master’s degree course.
The ETH-D Scholarship contains a partial stipend as well as additional offers by the Department (assistantship or additional scholarship).
There is only one application process for both Master scholarship programmes.
